How to Fix It

Check PSN server status
Go to status.playstation.com.
Check whether PSN Gaming and Social is listed as down.
If there is an outage, wait for Sony to resolve it.

Restart and re-sign in
Fully close Helldivers 2.
On PC: sign out of your PSN account in-game, wait 30 seconds, sign back in.
On PS5: go to Settings > Users and Accounts > Sign Out, then sign back in.
Relaunch the game. -
Disable VPN or proxy
Disconnect any active VPN.
Go to Windows Settings > Network & Internet > Proxy and ensure no proxy is set.
PSN does not work reliably through most VPNs.
Relaunch and test. -
Open PSN firewall ports
Log into your router admin panel.
Forward these ports to your PC or PS5: TCP 443, TCP 3478-3480, UDP 3478, UDP 3479.
Save and restart your router.
Retest the connection. -
Flush DNS cache
Press Win+R, type cmd, and run as Administrator.
Type: ipconfig /flushdns and press Enter.
Optionally change your DNS to 8.8.8.8 (Google) or 1.1.1.1 (Cloudflare) in network settings.
Restart the game.
