How to Fix It

Switch off immediately and clean the indoor filter.
A heavily blocked filter can cause the evaporator to freeze and drop suction pressure to E5 levels.
Clean the filter, allow 1-2 hours for the evaporator to fully defrost, then restart. -
If E5 returns after filter cleaning, do not restart — call Lloyd service.
Refrigerant leak is the likely cause if filter cleaning did not solve E5.
Continued operation damages the compressor. -
Ask the technician to locate and fix the leak before adding gas.
Insist on a leak test before any refrigerant is added.
A top-up without fixing the leak is a waste of money — E5 will return as the gas escapes again.
