How to Fix It

Check if ABS was switched off.
On KTM Adventure and Enduro models, ABS can be turned off in the menu (for off-road riding).
If the warning is the off icon (ABS OFF), simply re-enable ABS via the menu. -
Clean the wheel speed sensors.
Locate the front and rear ABS sensors near the brake discs.
Clean dirt, brake dust, and metal particles from the sensor face and the toothed tone ring. -
Inspect the sensor wires.
Look for chafed or pinched wires, particularly where they flex with suspension movement.
Replace damaged wires. -
Verify air gap.
If a wheel was recently off, the sensor air gap may be off.
Loosen the sensor bolt, push the sensor lightly against the tone ring, then tighten — the sensor's built-in spacer sets the correct gap. -
Reset by riding or via dealer scan.
Some warnings clear automatically after a clean ride.
If the warning persists, a KTM dealer can clear stored ABS codes after the underlying fault is fixed.
